There is nothing more fulfilling than giving back. There is many ways you can give back and be involved in your community. If you are a photographer, then best believe you can give back with your photography skills. If you are able to document or capture real, authentic moments in any way with your camera, then you are giving back in a very important way.

This past weekend I did just that at South of Penn Task Force’s Holiday Party. I had the opportunity to document such a wonderful event, in which over 600 gifts were donated to children in Reading, PA. The kids were more than thrilled to be there, and their faces lit up in such a magical way when they received their individual gifts.

“SOP would like to extend an immense thank you to everyone who made this weekend’s Holiday Party at St John Baptist Church a success!! It was a wonderful experience for SOP to work with the church and Reading Iron Playground Neighbors towards this great event! If you couldn’t make it this year, be sure to come by next year for a great time!

SOP would also like to thank Berks Foods and Berks Co Toys for Tots for their generous food and toy donations, Kenny’s Food Market for spreading the word and lending their space for our many needs, Barrio Alegria Co for volunteering their time and efforts, Mateo Toro for his stunning, superb pictures, and the Reading Eagle for a wonderful article Sunday evening!
