Moises Abreu, owner of New Heightz Grocery Store, took on some of Santa’s duties this Christmas. The local grocery store in Reading, Pennsylvania hosted a toy giveaway on Christmas Eve. If you know Moises, then you would already know he is constantly giving back to his community, therefore he knew he wanted to do something a bit more special for the kids on Christmas.

If you are a photographer, then best believe you can give back with your photography skills. If you are able to document or capture real, authentic moments in any way with your camera, then you are giving back in a very important way.

I had the opportunity to visit Star City Boxing, a non-profit boxing gym in Reading, Pennsylvania. I had heard of the great work they were doing not just for the youth, but in the community as a whole. I really wanted to take a visit and also get my feet wet in sports photography, as it is a style I had never tried before.
